Inverted Microscope - Meiji TC5100 - Inverted Biological Microscope

 

The Meiji Techno Inverted biological microscope with infinity corrected optical system offers quality optics at an affordable price. Inverted microscope includes the following:  

 

  • Objective Lenses: TC plan achromat infinity corrected long working distance objectives - LWD 10x (WD = 7.6mm) and LWD 20x (WD = 7.0mm). Mounted in quintuple nosepiece.
  • Eyepieces: Binocular Siedentopf head, inclined at 30°. Interpupilliary distance is adjustable from 53mm to 75mm. A graduated diopter adjustment is provided on the left eyetube. Includes paired SWH10x widefield high eyepoint eyepieces, FN 22 with a 25mm reticle mount. Optional SWH15x, SWH20x and SWH10x-F focusing eyepieces are available. Trinocular version available as well.
  • Total Magnification: 100x, 200x.
  • Specimen Stage: 180mm (X) x 245mm (Y) plain stage with replaceable glass insert with 45mm opening. Optional attachable mechanical stage (MA380/05) and a variety of specimen holders are available.
  • Focusing: Ergonomically low-positioned, coaxial, coarse and fine focus knobs with adjustable tension control. Range of travel is 9mm total - 1mm up and 8mm down. Rotations of fine focus is 0.2mm per revolution.
  • Illumination: Koehler 6v, 30w halogen lamp without iris. An aspheric condenser lens, a diffusion filter and a heat absorbing filter are also incorporated into the lamphouse. A lever-type iris diaphragm is provided for aperture control.
  • Light Focusing: Extra long working distance condenser, NA 0.30, WD 73mm. Optional condenser with NA 0.55, WD 20.5mm is available for more demanding work with 40x objectives (MA854).
  • Body: Chemical resistant baked enamel finish. Automatic voltage sensing power supply, removeable power cord.
  • Photo Port: Front mounted camera port suitable for CCD, 35mm or digital cameras. Optional camera adapters are available.
  • Size & Weight: 411mm (H) x 485mm (L) x 220mm (W), 23 lbs.
  • Warranty: Meiji Techno warrants this product against defects in material and/or workmanship for the life of the instrument from the date of original purchase to the original purchaser. Electrical warranty is 90 days.

Meiji Techno latest inverted microscope line is the cost-effective TC-5000 Series Inverted Biological Microscopes. The TC Series makes routine examining of tissue cultures, microbes and other live specimens in petri dishes and culture bottles fast and easy while delivering an excellent performance-to-cost ratio.

The TC Series is available in brightfield, phase contrast and epi-fluorescence models with either binocular or trinocular viewing head. The TC5000 Series Microscopes have an integrated front mounted camera port with adapters available for 35mm, CCD/CMOS and other cameras.

VIEWING HEADS

Binocular models, the TC5100, TC5300 and TC5500, incorporate the MA814 Siedentopf-type binocular head while the trinocular models, the TC5200, TC5400 and TC5600 have the MA816/10 Siedentopf-type trinocular head. The MA816/10 uses an 80/20 beam splitter that can be engaged for photo-microscopy. (100% to eyetubes or 80% to phototube and 20% to the eyetube.) Each microscope head has the eyetubes inclined at 30 degrees with the left eyetube having graduated diopter settings. The interpupillary distance on the viewing heads is adjustable between 53mm - 75mm.An optional ergonomic binocular head is also available.

EYEPIECES

10X Super Widefield High Eyepoint eyepieces are standard and 15X and 20X eyepieces are also available as an option. A Super Widefield High Eyepoint 10X focusable eyepiece that accepts standard 25mm reticules is also available.

The optional attachable mechanical stage measures 112mm(X) x 72mm(Y). It has ergonomically positioned right-handed coaxial drop down controls. It also accepts the following optional accessory plates: 35mm, 55mm, 65mm, Petrie Dish Holders, 96-well Terasaki Plate Holder, 1" X 3" glass slide holder, Hemacytometer holder.Slide, chamber, and petri dish holding plates of various sizes are available separately.
